In light of the devastating fires that are in Boulder County, the Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council (RETAC) has requested additional EMS resources from multiple areas across Colorado to help.
A City of Yuma unit, along with a Wray unit, departed Yuma last night around 6:30p.m. to the Good Samaritan, in Lafayette, to help with the evacuation needs for that hospital as well as any other help we can provide.
The City of Yuma is proud of our EMS department and wish everyone affected by this devastating event the best outcome possible.
