The City of Yuma was informed by NJC maintenance staff that the Yuma Public Library would remain closed until there can be further testing by the state. It is our understanding that this testing is to ensure that there is no mold or other contamination within the building. At this time the City of Yuma is unable to give a definite date for the library reopening.
Library staff is not admitted into the facility during this closure so services are limited. Books can be renewed by leaving a message at 970-848-2368 or emailing yumalibrary@hotmail.com. Books can be returned at the drop box located outside of the west entrance of the NJC Building.
The paperback exchange is still available in the main hallway.
