The City of Yuma has implemented a street sweeping schedule. The goal of this program is to ensure that all streets and gutters are swept at least once a month. This schedule will give residents the opportunity to move their vehicles off the street/avenue on scheduled dates. Please read the entire schedule, as there may be several dates that will affect your location. Keep in mind that our street sweepers cannot operate in inclement weather. Often times the street does not need to be swept but the gutters do, we will then sweep just the gutters. Please bear with us, and thank you for your patience.
Every Monday 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- South Main
- 1 block west of Main on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Ave.
- 2 blocks east of Main on 3rd and 4th Ave.
- 4 blocks East of Main on 2nd Ave.
- Railroad
1st or 3rd Week of the Month
- Monday: Park Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue, 4th Avenue, 5th Avenue
- Tuesday: 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, 8th Avenue, 9th Avenue, 10th Avenue, 11th Avenue
- Wednesday: South Ash, South Birch, South Cedar, Cedar Circle, Birch Circle, 13th Avenue
- Thursday: South Date, South Elm, South Gum, South Hickory, South Ivy, South Juniper Ct., Forest, Fir
- Friday: South Albany, South Buffalo, South Columbus
This is a tentative schedule and may change due to weather, equipment, or other reasons beyond control. If we do not get to your street on the scheduled date, we will come back on the 3rd week of the month and finish.
2nd and 4th Week of the Month
- Monday: North Railroad, East Pershing, East Foch, East Hoag, East Benson, East Petain
- Tuesday: North Albany, North Buffalo, North Columbus, North Ash, North Date, North Elm, North Fir, West Grant
- Wednesday: North Main, North Birch, West Hoag, Beatty Avenue
- Thursday: Highway 59, Highway 34
