Utility Rates

The City of Yuma provides electric, water, sewer, and trash services to the residents and businesses in the city limits of the City of Yuma.

To receive utility service from the City of Yuma, each customer must fill out an Application for Utility Service, provide proper identification, and pay a utility deposit. Utility deposits are applied to the final utility bill, once the customer no longer has utility service with the City of Yuma. If a customer moved from house to house, the utility deposit will transfer with the customer.

Utility bills are mailed on the last working day of each month. Bills are due on the 10th of the following month. If the utility bill is not paid within 5 days of the due date, you will be assessed a penalty of 5% of your account balance. If the utility bill is not paid by the 25th of the month, the utility service may be disconnected on the 26th of the month.

Change in Account Information

If you need to discontinue your utility service with the City of Yuma, you will need to fill out an Application for Discontinuance of Utility Service. If this form is not received by the City of Yuma, your utility service may continue in your name and you will remain responsible for payment of the utility bill.
