Lake Yuma Netting Update
The City of Yuma would like to update residents on Lake Yuma. The city has been discussing the best options for the netting, which was part of the sod installed last year for the storm water retention pond project. As many residents know, erosion had a significant negative effect on Lake Yuma and the water quality produced a less than pleasant odor at times.
Algae Blooms in Lake Yuma
The City of Yuma would like its residents to be aware of a blue-green algae bloom that has occurred at Lake Yuma.
